AMA calls for 20% tax to be imposed on sugary drinks

The head of the Australian Medical Association has called for a tax on sugary drinks. Speaking to the National Press Club, Doctor Omar Khorshid says sweetened beverages contribute disproportionately to the health burden posed by obesity.
